# Solution for ›Statements‹

Again the statements:

- The statements 3, 4 and 7 are false.
- The statements 1 and 7 are true.
- The statements 2, 4 and 6 are false.
- The statements 2 and 8 are false.
- The statements 6 and 8 are true.
- The statements 1, 2 and 3 are false.
- The statements 5 and 8 are false.
- The statements 3 and 7 are true.

I will shorten true and false to T and F. For example 7F means that statement 7 is false.

Assuming 8T, then 7T and 8W which contradicts the assumtion. So **8F** and **5F**.
If 2T, then 7T and 1T. But then 7F which doesn’t work. So **2F**.
The rest follows directly: **4T**, **7T**, **1F**, **3F** and **6T**.

Only statements 4, 6, and 7 are true.
